FINDING OUR LIFE IN JESUS TOGETHER

About

Welcome to Lebanon Presbyterian Church (LPC)
we're so thankful you are here!

Scripture at Our Core: The Old and New Testaments guide everything we do, revealing Jesus Christ as our King (Luke 24). We are committed to preaching that points us to Jesus, therefore we are committed to the whole counsel of God and place ourselves under the authority of the Scriptures (Acts 28:23-28). Our strongest desire is to glorify God, enjoying Him fully, both now and for eternity.

Our Mission: Moved by God's love and forgiveness, we're passionate about sharing the transformative message of Jesus' love and salvation. Understanding ourselves as loved and forgiven, we testify through word and sacrament to the change Christ has wrought in us, creating new hearts by His grace (Romans 5:8).

We invite you to be part of this redemptive story as we follow Jesus the Christ King. Come, see what God is doing among us!

Fix Your Eyes on Jesus - a 21 Day Daily Bible Reader through Hebrews 11.

A Bible Devotional Reader designed to help you practice reading the Bible historical redemptively. Begin to interpret the Old Testament (OT) comparatively with the New Testament (NT). As you do, may you see Jesus, so that you may fix your eyes upon Him.

Each day you will engage with a reading method called RCI, Read – Compare – Interpret. Each day you will read an OT passage and a related NT passage, compare the OT in light of the NT passage, and interpret. How does the NT affect your understanding of the OT passage?

Turn to Jesus: No longer call good evil and evil good! Turn to Jesus, for He is truly Good. Seek not just any Jesus, but the Jesus revealed through the entirety of Scripture, the Word of Truth. He will not turn you away; God is love. He always welcomes those who come with a humble and repentant heart.
Repent of your sins and follow Jesus, it is He who bears away your transgressions. Jesus is the sacrifice that quells God's wrath; accept the Sacrifice and rejoice! Then, extend this same love to everyone, even your enemies, for His glory and our joy

“Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst. But I said to you that you have seen me and yet do not believe. All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out. For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will but the will of him who sent me. And this is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me, but raise it up on the last day. For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.”” John 6:35–40
